Sustainable drums
Sustainability is always a point of focus at Janus Vaten. That is why we always strive for sustainable processes, sustainable relationships, and naturally, sustainable drums. We also try to carry out all our processes with the lowest possible energy consumption. We would like to tell you all about the way in which we produce sustainable drums.
Total Concept
We try to extend the overall lifespan of the sustainable drums with our unique total concept. The total concept consists of 3 steps: production, reconditioning and recycling. We would like to explain how we apply these steps to keep becoming more sustainable.
Production
The drums are naturally produced during the production phase. The Janus Vaten team is involved in the design, testing, optimisation and production of the industrial packaging. That way, we can supply the right drums to meet client-specific needs.
Reconditioning
Reconditioning is an important part of the sustainability of our drums. We reuse our drums to minimise the use of raw materials. Janus Vaten possesses proven techniques and special machines with which we produce high-quality reconditioned drums.
Recycling
Are the drums at the end of their lifecycle? Then the drums end up in the final phase: recycling. In addition to steel drums, we also recycle plastic drums. This is a positive development that contributes to the reduction of C02 emissions.
