Family-run Janus Vaten BV specialises in the production, sale, and reconditioning of steel and plastic packaging. To expand the technical services department, we are looking for a new colleague to join the team.

What does the role look like?
As a technical services employee, you will be responsible for undertaking repair, maintenance, and overhaul activities on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. You will work on production installations, production equipment, and other technical facilities to minimise and, where possible, prevent faults. You will independently work to resolve faults. The varied range of activities has interfaces with electrical engineering. You will work independently, record the nature and duration of faults, and report these to your technical services team leader.

  • A salary of €2,500 to €3,750 (gross) per month (full-time) based on age and experience.

What we expect

  • You can work at the level of intermediate vocational education (Dutch MBO diploma or equivalent, e.g. electrical engineering or mechatronics).
  • Experience in an electrical engineering and/or mechanical environment.
  • Affinity with one of the following: hydraulics, pneumatics, measurement and control technology.
  • You will be able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • You will be proactive with a flexible approach.
